GIOVAI

GIOVAI

Giovai are at the top of the hierarchy in terms of the food chain, as well as in culture, society, and status.

They are feared and revered, seeing as they are creators of many specimens but are also the destroyers of others. Depending on how evolved the species is, they can be neutral but others can be extremely vengeful and spiteful.

Their method of creation and destruction can be extremely varied, seeing as they are specimens that are easily bored due to their higher intelligence. They find entertainment in the novel and strange, leading to them birthing mangled creatures, purely out of a sadistic enjoyment of suffering.

The destroyers of Giovai tend to be more neutral, however their cruelty is one of their biologically ingrained traits.

Giovai do not live amongst the post-apocalyptic rubble that other species are subjected to. Depending on the species, they will roman Qulesia on “floating” platforms either in groups or alone. From the skies, they will survey and pass judgment on who should live or die.

Due to their omnipresence, they are able to witness everything, anywhere, anytime; their senses are also heightened, especially their hearing and eyesight.

PROTOGYN (proto-gin)

A species of the Giovai family. This species, Protogyn, is one of the lower Giovai, seeing as they tend to be more sympathetic towards the other specimens in Qulesia.

They are destroyers that find erotic pleasure within their profession. They enjoy interacting with carnivores such as Hadon and Anthit.

Overtime, Protogyn developed a taste for flesh and therefore evolved a vicious mouth worthy of tearing through flesh. They hunt for sport rather than for nutrients, tossing aside their catches to the lower families to feast on.

DIAMETIUS (dia-mee-tius)

A species from the family of Giovai called Diametius. They are considered a destroyer, a very unforgiving one at that. They began as a creator but curiously developed a deep hatred for the lifeforms they created.

Their pessimism led them to eradicate multiple species, leading to a mass extinction that wiped out much of Anthit. They despise flesh-eaters, seeing meat consumption as a lowly form of erotism. Their lack of predator features ranks them high within Giovai, but it is suspected that under their tightly woven cloth, there are vicious fangs that lurk.

However, it has been centuries, perhaps even eons, since their faces have been revealed. Their lack of emotion creates a dreadful sense of fear when they are sent to destroy a creature. Sometimes, during moments of revelation or great distress, remnants of their eyes appear through but it isn’t very often that Diametius feels emotions.

Another diametius.

CHOMATIUS (cho-ma-tius)

A strange deviation from the species of Diametius is called Chomatius. While Chomatius shares common traits and genes with Diametius, their lack of desire for anything causes them to become imprisoned by their predecessor.

These gods simply do not have a purpose. They find no purpose within their lives, no reason to create, no reason to destroy. They wallow in their emotions, philosophizing over the concept of life and death.

After all, there’s nothing better to do when you’re chained up. The very first Chromatius fought back against Diametius but soon lost their will to continue with their efforts, so they succumbed to a lifetime of depression and melancholy.

WYNDAVIA (win-da-vee-a)

A species from Giovai called Wyndavia. These species do not have hands, rather, they sport cloth like limbs that are able to create. They are one of the most prolific creators within Qulesia.

They are ambivalent to their offsprings, however, as they create for the main purpose of creation. They are intentional creatures, very meticulous and precise. They are quick to disregard creations that don't conform to their self-set rules.

They do not interact with carnivores or any lower species because they do not find any purpose to do so.

This is an eyeless version of a Protogyn holding a Varcite!

CELIOGYN (see-lo-gin)

The Celiogyn are a species from Giovai. They are creators that tend to be very mischievous in their creations - they of course create in the name of creation but they find purpose in creating creatures that are meant to suffer and to be strange. They are the reason as to why Anthit came to evolve in the way that they did.

Their sadistic desire to keep humans alive was the catalyst for their continuous efforts to evolve Anthit through wicked experimentation and countless mutations. They do not find parental love for Anthit. Instead, they find them erotically repulsive.

Creatures that are meant for the privilege to exploit and sodomize, while remaining the scum of the earth for all eternity. Celiogyns are known to be fascinated by the concept of carnivores and are the main perpetrators of such acts. Although, they tend to keep this a secret.

ABOLI (aah-bow-lee)

A species named Aboli from the Giovai family. Aboli are sinister gods. They are the ones who dispose of those considered unworthy. Their forms are usually wrapped head to toe in cloth but when they must reap a soul, their cloth unwraps to reveal unblinking eyes and large, smooth teeth.

They do not consume flesh regularly but can be found enjoying some of their reaped souls every now and then. However, since their teeth are far too dull to properly chew the tough flesh, they just end up sucking on the meat until it goes flaccid.

Protogyns are not creators, so it’s likely this Protogyn is not “birthing” a Varcite. It probably finds humor in holding it like a baby… Right before throwing it onto a weak Anthit for it to feast on!

Their fascination with cannibalism can be likened to what we humans know is voyeurism/cuckholding...
